- VAT no.: IT02914400870
- Tax code: CRLRSO67M67B428H
- Phone: 0933 26807
- Orders and support: info@ceramichecorallo.it
2. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to distance contracts concluded through the site. Placing an order implies acceptance of the terms shown before payment. This is without prejudice to the mandatory rights granted to consumers by Legislative Decree 206/2005 (the Italian Consumer Code) and by applicable law.
3. Handmade nature of the products
Descriptions, photos, sizes and colors help represent each product as faithfully as possible. Every piece is handmade: slight differences in brushwork, glaze, shade, shape or size are characteristic of handmade work and do not in themselves constitute a defect. The main characteristics and the chosen variant are summarized before the order is placed.
4. Prices, taxes and availability
Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are shown before the order is confirmed. In the event of an obvious pricing error or if a product becomes unavailable, the customer is contacted promptly and can choose an alternative solution or a full refund of the amount paid.
5. Orders and conclusion of the contract
- The customer selects the product, variant, quantity and delivery method and checks the summary.
- Placing the order constitutes an offer to purchase.
- The contract is concluded when the customer receives the order confirmation at the address they provided.
- The customer must check the details provided immediately and report any errors.
6. Payment
The available methods are shown at checkout. Electronic payments are handled by Stripe or by the provider indicated during the purchase; Ceramiche Corallo does not store full card details. The order may be suspended or canceled if the payment is not authorized or shows security irregularities.
7. Personalization and made-to-order work
Colors, decors, initials, packaging, quantities and special timeframes must be confirmed in writing. Any drafts or summaries approved by the customer become part of the order. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized; the mere fact that a standard product is made after the order does not automatically make it personalized.
8. Preparation, delivery and transfer of risk
The timeframes indicated are estimates and may vary because of handcrafting, quantity or destination. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place within the timeframe communicated and in any case in compliance with applicable law. The risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when they take physical possession of the goods, unless they independently choose a carrier not offered by the seller.
The customer must provide a complete address and be available to receive the delivery. Costs arising from incorrect addresses or from parcels held at the depot for reasons attributable to the recipient may be charged after prior notice.
9. Right of withdrawal
The consumer may withdraw from the purchase of a standard product within 14 days from the day they take physical possession of the goods, without giving any reason. The decision must be communicated by an explicit statement to info@ceramichecorallo.it within that period. The product must then be returned within the following 14 days, following the instructions received; we ask you to use packaging suited to the fragility of ceramics.
The direct costs of returning goods because of a change of mind are borne by the consumer. The refund includes the payments received and the cost of standard delivery, but not any supplementary costs chosen by the customer. It may be withheld until the goods have been received or until proof of shipment has been supplied, whichever is earlier.
“I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for order [number], received on [date]. Full name, address, email, date.”
For practical instructions, please also see Returns and refunds.
10. Exclusions from the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases set out in Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, including goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. This exclusion does not limit the remedies for defective, damaged or non-conforming products.
11. Damaged products and legal guarantee
The consumer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by Articles 128 and following of the Italian Consumer Code. In the event of transport damage or lack of conformity, it helps to write as soon as possible, attaching the order number and photos of the product, packaging and label. Reporting a problem after 48 hours does not remove the rights granted by law.
12. Use of the site and intellectual property
The texts, photos, graphics, trademarks and content of the site are protected by applicable law. They may not be copied, published or used commercially without permission, except for uses permitted by law. Interfering with the operation or security of the site is prohibited.
13. Liability and force majeure
The seller is not liable for delays or failures to perform caused by unforeseeable events beyond the seller's reasonable control, without prejudice to the obligation to inform the customer and protect their rights. No clause limits liability or the consumer's rights where such a limitation is not permitted by law.
14. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Tracking technologies are explained in the Cookie Policy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers whose habitual residence is in another country, this is without prejudice to the mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, “Rome I”). For consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile remains competent, where provided for by the Italian Consumer Code. Before taking legal action, the parties may seek an amicable solution or turn to a competent ADR body.
16. Changes and contact
The applicable terms are those published at the time of the order. Any updates apply to later purchases. For clarification, write to info@ceramichecorallo.it.
